"In these hills"

Hi,
My name is Terri and I've enjoyed painting, making soaps, candles, floral arrangements, and crafts since I was a young girl. I'm now in my 40 something years and I still love it. I've not had any formal teaching or training on these subjects. I feel that I have a talent or so I've been told this many times. You may decide for yourself. One thing I can tell you for sure is that I put love and care into all my craft products. I pride myself and I'm very dedicated to achieving a superb quality product or craft. When I finish a handmade item, I feel good, happy, and satisfied that it's of the best work and quality I can produce. I hope my products and crafts will bring much joy and happiness to you and that you will be 100% satisfied. Here is alittle bit about me. I'm an eccentric when it comes to alot of things, especially when it comes to high standards and the quality of products. I'm also a stickler for detail and skilled craftsmanship. Thats why I love handmade crafts from artist and crafters. You can find things of high quality which is not always possible when products are mass produced. I also love country and primitive decor in my home. It makes me feel cozy, comfortable and content. It's a great reminder of times past, the simple good ole days. Here are some other things that I love to love. I love God and Church. I love having morals and principles. I love my family and friends. I love my 27 year old son, Jason. I love my 46 year old husband, Larry. I love meeting new people. I love living in America. I love living out in the country, in the woods, on a deadend road. I love animals, all animals. I now have several cats. I have had many dogs in my day. I had a potbelly pig, solid black, for several years. His name was Harley, but he wasn't small. I love birds and squirrels and feed them as well as I feed my cats and the wild raccons, possums, and shunks that come up on my deck to eat the catfood. They are not even afraid of me any more. Well, I could go on and on about the many things I love, cause I'm just a loving old country girl at heart. How the name of my website came about, Terri's Log Cabin Crafts, is that the cabin on my home page belonged to my Father, Melvin and my Mother, Betty Lou. My father built it with logs from two barns he purchased, together with river rock, he and my mom would gather from trips all around the mountains. He assembled it from scratch. I always loved the place and my mother had it decorated with a rustic, primitive, and country design. She was a crafter and artist herself. Both my parents are deceased now, but were very intelligent, kind, loving, hard working people that you would really love to meet. They were true pioneers in every sense of the word. Through God and from them, I feel, came most of my learning and talent. I really hope you fancy my crafts as much as I love doing them.
Thanks so much!
Terri
